Today’s reading is chapter twenty-three of Green Comet, the first book in the Green Comet trilogy.

In chapter twenty-three Elgin doesn’t get much work done the next day. He’s honored and nervous that both Frances and Stanton are coming to watch him play flashball. Elgin’s natural ability is starting to show, but he still thinks he’s the klutzy new guy. Buzzard is the crowd favorite, of course. They get a startling proposal about the joining of the comets.
