Today’s reading is chapter twenty-one of Green Comet, the first book in the Green Comet trilogy.

In this chapter, Elgin takes charge and successfully finishes the ball project. He plays his first official flashball game. He meets Nigel and Winston and Frances. He gets flustered and feels awkward.

This video is being recorded on my little, old laptop. I tried my phone and found that the camera is probably better than this one, but the audio isn’t as good. So now I’m starting to think about getting a dedicated camera. Any suggestions?

In this reading, Elgin begins work on fixing Stanton’s ball. He meets his crew and gets things going. He hears about the Visitor for the first time. He finds out that it’s old hat to the people who’ve been awake for awhile. Stanton and Buzzard take Elgin to an observation bubble in the surface of the comet. He sees the other comet at a great distance.

Today’s reading is chapter nineteen of Green Comet, the first book in the Green Comet trilogy.

In today’s reading, Elgin and Buzzard start working together. Elgin uses his sense of rightness, and Buzzard uses his deep, penetrating concentration. They make a great team. They go to the flashball court and Elgin shows Buzzard how he plans to fix it. They go together to try out for the flashball team, the Harriers.
