Green Comet

Today’s reading is chapter twenty-seven of Green Comet, the first book in the Green Comet trilogy.

In chapter twenty-seven Elgin and Frances enjoy coffee and toast with iceberry jam on their new balcony. They talk about the Visitor, but it makes her just as uncomfortable as it did Buzzard. Fran suggests that they should grow iceberries right there on the walls of the Square. They have an appointment with the Doctor.

In chapter twenty-six, everybody is speculating about the Visitor. Work continues toward joining the comets. Elgin and Buzzard continue to get better at flashball. Elgin and Frances move into their place. They take some kids to the swimming hole.

Here’s hoping this video doesn’t come out jerky like the last one. In chapter twenty-five, Elgin and Frances decide to move in together. Elgin leaves the location and design to her because he doesn’t care beyond the living together part. While house hunting, they come upon people having arguments between the debates. They learn more about the Visitor.
