I feel as if I’m almost ready to upload my first actual video to YouTube, but I’m still hesitant. The video is okay. It does what I want it to do, which is present the audiobook of Green Comet to my YouTube subscribers, and anyone else who stumbles across it. But I’m still feeling as if it’s not very “professional.” I know that’s silly. A lot of the stuff on YouTube isn’t very professional, so I shouldn’t worry about it. But then, a lot of the stuff on YouTube is very professional, and that’s what I want to emulate. So, do I strive to improve it, or do I just toss it out there and see what happens?
I know what I would advise other people.-)

When I was in the television broadcasting industry, overhead lighting was what we used to brighten the set. We used a white balance to gauge the proper strength of light.
So far I’m doing okay with natural light, but I think I’ll be getting a ring light and maybe an umbrella light.
