Today’s reading is chapter ten of Green Comet, the first book in the Green Comet trilogy. We’re getting into the serious business of life on the comet. Elgin does some research in the “Commons,” an information database. He looks up “armful” and the Francesians. He reacts to the misinformation and the nastiness. He experiences the familiar pain of his solitary waking.

We also see how Green Comet came to be. Minder does some thinking about how adoration and respect for Elgin has some bad side effects.
