I mentioned last week that there would probably be a hiatus in these readings because I would be busy recording my own story – Vin Stone – The Detective’s Car. It occurred to me that I could post sample chapters from that story as I go so this spot could remain full. So, here is chapter one of The Detective’s Car. I have put up a few moving blankets. The ones on the rods are the largest ones – 96″ x 80″ – and they are serving a double purpose. They contribute to the overall insulation and also serve as window blinds. You can see that they drag on the floor. I have chosen to see that as a feature.-) They’re not messy or in the way. They’re providing overlapping coverage. See?
I’m still waiting on more blankets. They will line the walls, drape the ceiling and cover the floor. I’m getting tired of waiting to do my first recording in there. I wonder what it would be like now. Do you think I should try it?
