I might as well put up another chapter of the recording of Vin Stone – Night Soil. Since I’m not posting Okanagan Reader recordings for a while, I might as well post a few of the ones I am doing. Today’s reading is chapter six. It’s a short chapter that comes in at only about eight minutes.

There you go, then.

There won’t be an Okanagan Reader post this week because I have to start recording my novel Vin Stone – Night Soil. How about if, instead of posting a regular reading, I post the first chapter of this novel? That sounds like a great idea. Now, how do I do that again?

Oh, right. That was easy.

This week’s reading is part three of Vanishing Act by Kelly Link. It is part of a short story collection called Stranger Things Happen. It’s about twenty-three minutes long. Like other Okanagan Reader stories it is licensed Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike. You can find my review of the book here. Listen to this and other stories on the Audio page.

Acceptable Loss is the last story in the Quantum Shorts collection. That is the end for the readings of that collection of flash fiction, and time to move on to the next book. Next week I will begin recording the stories in Stranger Things Happen by Kelly Link. I previously posted a small review of her book here on Green Comet. It’s available for free download at the Feedbooks website. Her personal website is here.

I hope you’ll visit the Okanagan Reader next week for the beginning of Stranger Things Happen by Kelly Link.
