YouTube – Acceptable Loss

Acceptable Loss by Przemyslaw Zanko is the last story in the Quantum Shorts flash fiction collection. Its quantum themes are the multiverse, the uncertainty principle and decoherence, among others. If the uncertainty of multiple universes bothers you, is it okay to destroy all the other ones?

We’re down to the last story in this series. Next time we’ll be moving on to stories by Kelly Link in her book, Stranger Things Happen.

Recording Studio – Paneling

I have begun working on the interior of the studio. I’m putting up the insulating panels. They’re called donnacona boards and they’re purported to be insulating for both heat and sound. I know it’s making me feel more snug as they go up.

You can just see the screws and washers that are holding them up while the glue cures. They’re so light that a bit of glue, or even caulking, will hold them in place. Washers definitely required or the screws would go right through the board.

I’m enjoying this.
