Today’s reading is chapter forty of Green Comet, the first book in the Green Comet trilogy.
In chapter forty we find out how badly Fran is injured. She has pain throughout her body. They search for the cause. She gets worse as the Scout goes methodically through its scans, then waits for instructions. Elgin aches to do something to stop her suffering.
