Today’s reading is of chapter eight.four of Green Comet, the first book in the Green Comet trilogy. Chapter eight is an hour long, so I’ve broken it up into four parts. In this part, we see how Elgin handles the Francesians. He banks his rage at their assumption that they own Frances, and he calmly shows them their error in making him a saint. It’s also the first time we see Elgin’s legendary “face.” The confrontation stimulates the final integration of his synesthesia.
