Stories for Men – Part One

Today’s reading is part one of Stories for Men by John Kessel, part of a collection of short stories called The Baum Plan for Financial Independence. It is about twelve minutes long. The story isn’t actually a short story. It’s more like a novella, so be prepared for many parts. We’re back on the Moon with this one. It’s the same locale as in The Juniper Tree. A boy is trying to find his way in the matriarchal society, and finding many of the same problems as are found by women and girls here and now.
