Today’s reading is the conclusion of The Invisible Empire by John Kessel, part of a collection of short stories called The Baum Plan for Financial Independence. It was inspired by Karen Joy Fowler’s story Game Night at the Fox and Goose. It is about ten minutes long. Like other Okanagan Reader stories it is licensed Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike.
