This week’s reading is part one of Survivor’s Ball, or the Donner Party by Kelly Link. It is part of a short story collection called Stranger Things Happen. It’s about eighteen minutes long. Like other Okanagan Reader stories it is licensed Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike. You can find my review of the book here. Listen to this and other stories on the Audio page.

The audiobook of Vin Stone – Night Soil is complete and uploaded to the distributor. It should be showing up at the retailers soon. Meanwhile, the ebook has been marked for wider distribution. So far it’s available at Kobo, Google Play and Amazon. It will be at other retailers soon. I will update the Books for Sale page after that.

For now, it’s time to ink up the pens and start writing the next one.

Many thanks to my loyal followers and those who took advantage of the advance readers copies.

The recording is going well and the audiobook will be available early in the new year.

Book four in the Vin Stone series is already rustling around in the back of my mind.

Thank you for your time.

This chapter is about nine-and-a-half minutes. The recording continues its measured pace. It’s looking as if I should be able to finish recording it before the new year. This chapter shows that things can get worse.

This is a bigger chapter. Exactly fifteen minutes. The recording is plodding along at a measured pace. If there are no surprises I might finish recording it in the week before the new year. This chapter takes us to Willie’s place of work on the sidewalk of a busy street. The grimy sidewalk is hard but the brick wall is warmed by the sun.
