This reading is chapter twenty-six of Parasite Puppeteers, the second book in the Green Comet trilogy. The empty orbit turned out to have one large planetesimal and a bunch of rubble. The third planet looks the most promising, but there’s something wrong with it. If anyone figured out that this system is a lot like our system, they didn’t say anything about it.
