Today’s reading is part one of Sunlight or Rock by John Kessel, part of a collection of short stories called The Baum Plan for Financial Independence. It’s about sixteen minutes long. Like other Okanagan Reader stories it is licensed Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike. After he is banished, Erno ends up living in Mayer, a grimy, crime-filled slum.
