This reading is chapter forty-six of Parasite Puppeteers, the second book in the Green Comet trilogy. Elgin gets tired and succumbs to sleep, with a promise from Stanton to wake him if anything happens. Elgin and Plub learn more about each other, and about each other’s people. Elgin learns that, crude as the Makers might be, Plub seems to be a decent person.
