    The focus is on Tallgrass and his responses to situations which he is unable to control. Since he has such a wonderful relationship with the adults in his life, his self image isn’t crushed by his antagonists. Although one wonders how antagonists will be turned into friends as time passes through Tallgrass’ life.

      Perceptive, Laird. He’s making some important acquaintances now, which will endure.

        That relationships will endure is good to know. I wonder where the antagonists will fit in? Of course eventually that story will come to pass.
